Today is giving Tuesday! We are SO grateful for everyone who has partnered with us financially to help make more therapies possible for Finn! As I have said so many times each of these treatments are life changing for Finn and will be a routine part of his life for the foreseeable future! 

While we are really thankful for the opportunities out there to help him they require a lot financially. Not only are the treatments alone expensive but some of them require traveling and time off work for Levi. As Finn improves I’m hopeful I will be able to manage some of it on my own but his needs are just too much for one person right now. 

Since our last update we had someone generously donate the funds for the premium red light for us to use at home!! We are sooo excited to be able to utilize that as we have continued as much treatment at home as possible!

I’m going to recap some expenses for 2026 so as you consider giving today you can see how your money will be used!

Lucas Brain Rehab - $27,500 without travel/time off work. 

This is the functional neurologist in Austin we just went to! It’s recommended to go every 2-3 months. We are hopeful to go every 3-4 months because of the massive progress we saw. This also only covers going for a week at a time for 3 trips and the full two weeks for another trip. 

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy - $13,000 

We are still working on getting this setup and planning the timing. It will be a drive to Dallas everyday Monday-Friday for 8 weeks. 

This is also not including if Levi needs to take off work and us hopefully buying a home chamber at the end of the 8 weeks to continue this therapy at home! 

A physical therapy intensive likely out of state - this could be $10,000+ with travel and time off work. Usually these are 3 hours every day for 2-3 weeks. 

This would be a specialized therapy like DMI that is incredibly helpful in developmental milestones. 

Some exciting news is that a local therapy office that I had looked into probably takes our insurance so we would be able to start a weekly session as well as plan for a 3 week intensive with them in the next year!

They are not as specialized as some of the places we would love to take Finn to but if it’s covered by insurance then it will be a huge bonus to also get to make that a part of Finn’s treatment plan!

These are just the priorities for next year as there are so many more options and tools we could be buying to use at home. But they are the treatments that we have seen work or been highly recommended to help Finn so it is where we are going to focus!
