Day +100 post BMT update: Blakely remains cancer free, 100% mama cells, and 100% sass. 😋
Blakely is still battling some skin GVHD, but is responding well to the creams she has been prescribed so we are back to weening her immunosuppressant.
In the picture I’m going to share she doesn’t have an NG tube (nose tubie) because she threw it up that morning. She is still very much reliant on the NG tube for all her nutrition. She is starting to try little bites here and there and has started on an appetite stimulate to see if we can get he eating more on her own. She honestly hasn’t ate a whole meal since she was diagnosed in December. Even just getting her to snack on things while in the hospital was a major struggle.
But overall she is doing well!! She has completed 2 of her 6 maintenance chemo treatments and will start DLI (donor lymphocyte infusion) treatment soon. I’ll share more details on that when it gets closer.
