These are the moments I pray for. Him smiling and being so happy is all I ever want to see. I hate seeing him in pain. Last week was so hard for this little one. Every noise,Every touch, Every move would cause a startle or spasms. After numerous videos, emails, calls we were asked to come in for an in office (EEG) a safe, painless test that measures the natural electrical activity inside your brain to see if any new seizures were happening. Muscle Rehab Dr decided to adjust one of his  medications and his PCP gave him a alternative medication to help stimulate his stools that could be causing some tight tone in his muscles. With Tramatic Brain Injury (TBI) an infant/toddler can seem confused or struggle to push out stool. This  is a neurological breakdown in coordination between the brain and the digestive system, a condition known as neurogenic bowel dysfunction. Videos are very important to communicate with your team of doctors especially in our situation. I’m so glad I caught everything because by the end of Friday night we had a resting boy. By the end of the weekend he was back to his normal self. Medical mamas listen to your gut never feel you’re over thinking or over asking make all the noise you need so these doctors know you will never stop advocating for your babies.

💙🦖 Peep 👀 his new touch and feel book he loved the textures and he also held a toy for 22 seconds 🤭👏🏽
