We got Elijah’s labs back from our last appointment and the trial medication is doing its job! The doctor wants his lab to be under 2 but we are definitely headed in the right direction. We started the higher dose today and have to have more labs drawn on the 25th. We will go back to Texas the first full week of May for follow up. We also met yesterday with specialists here in Colorado to transition him to the keto diet, which can help with seizure control and potentially help with his dystonia. The process will be much more difficult on me as a caregiver but he’s so worth it! Lots of changes happening and hopefully everything keeps going in the right direction! We scheduled an appointment with the dystonia specialist there at the hospital in Texas. They can’t see us til late summer but it’s a start! Please keep praying for my amazing boy!
