Elaine has been working super hard this week. By week 2 she is usually tired, fighting some sort of "cold" (usually just nasal congestion and a cough, no fever), and has caught onto the therapists game and "doesn't cooperate easily". But during this week we have been able to: take several steps alone in her gait trainer; stand for over 10 seconds while someone holds her hands out; and she has decided that Vegan Strawberry ice Cream is acceptable. 

Our goals for this intensive are the same as the last; working on trunk control, head and neck control, and any help with sitting/standing/ or mobility. Things are definitely improving but we still have a ways to go. We have signed up for 2 more intensives in August and in December.  These both will help continue her progress and hopefully help improve her condition. Any help/shares/donations would be greatly appreciated. 

The picture included in this shows her Happy in her activity chair. During this stay we have been trying to take walks around the neighborhood in this chair to hopefully get her more ok with it. We think it might be working........
