I hope everyone has a great day with family and/or friends.  I always like to reflect and think of the ways I am thankful. I have been reading Radical Hope. I have it on Audible and listened to it on my way to and from work last year. While I was reading I came across this:

"Gratitude and positivity towards the body leads to a common perspective held among radical remission survivors which is respecting or loving your cancer, as opposed to "fighting" it.  I created cancer, so I can uncreate it. It has something to teach, I'm prepared to listen."

If you think about it, cancer is different for each person. Someone might have the same type and same treatment but there is so much that is different. Each person has a different terrain and that makes all the difference. For example, on kisqali and anastrozole I didn't have the body aches like many women do. I was doing other natural therapies that helped combat those side effects and also helped my immune system. I worked with kids, never got sick.  There is another thing that many people don't think of when it comes to cancer, what emotions or trauma has a person held on to? It really does count.

I am losing more hair :(. My eyebrows and eyelashes are still good. My poor head and neck will get cold if I go bald during the winter. I still have 2 knitted caps I got from my friend Bobbi. They did a great job keeping me warm. I will have to get a scarf for my neck.

I go see the neurologist tomorrow morning.  Sigh. I'm starting to get tired of being home. It's interesting how I can live with my family and yet be lonely. They still have their lives to live so I'm not always around everyone.

A friend offered to take me out driving, I think I need to take her up on her offer :).

Again have a wonderful day today!! I am thankful for all of you :)
