Deana's Cancer Journey
Saw the neurologist Friday. He is happy I am not having any new or worse symptoms. I told him about my left hand and 1-2 fingers being numb. He thinks it might be from lymphedema or neuropathy. I can't remember when the numbness started (before or after Enhertu). He does want an MRI before the end of the year. Still losing my hair :(
I did great with having no anxiety until this morning. I have treatment tomorrow. I have to remember to tell the doctor about not having Benadryl and having the tingles. I am starting to get tired of being home!!! I am trying to think of all the positives and continue to do things that will benefit this journey. Then the next treatment is Dec 23. I am praying that I feel good for Christmas and Brandon's birthday (26th).
I woke up cold!! It was 66 degrees in my bedroom but it was 71 in the rest of the house. For some reason my bedroom is always colder. I checked to see what the temperature was outside and it said 38. I screen shot it and sent it to my friend in Kenosha, she laughed and said it was 5 degrees there. Ok, I am fine with 38 degrees LOL! I know they had lots of snow last weekend so I will stay quiet.
Thank you for the emails, texts, and phone calls. I really need them!! Please don't feel like you are bugging me because you aren't. One of the 10 key factors in the book Radical Remission is social support so keep them coming!
The other 9 are: radically changing your diet, taking control of your health, following your intuition, using herbs and supplements, releasing suppressed emotions, increasing positive emotions, deepening your spiritual connection, having strong reasons for living, and exercise.
I need some funny movie ideas. Please tell me what movies or shows makes you laugh whether on here or any other way we communicate.
I will be making turkey soup, oatmeal, chia seed pudding, different types of teas, and other foods to get me through the next week. Brandon is king of making scrambled eggs for me. My stomach does better with soft warm foods. I have been putting aloe vera in my juices and it helped a lot. I felt like my stomach felt less acidic.
So very thankful for all of you :) Have a great day!
