Hello all!

Darlene had quite a setback after her most recent round of chemotherapy on May 10 that landed her in the hospital for 11 days.  That stuff is ROUGH!  Turned her entire system upside down and inside out.....but we have stabilized and all systems are GO (-ing in the right direction)!  Still pending the outcome of a few tests, but as of today there is nothing they were doing in the hospital that can't be managed at home, so she was discharged from Huntsman Cancer Hospital this afternoon and is home resting.

We met with the Radiation Oncologist this past Wednesday after treatment and learned that although the tumor doesn't seem to be responding quite as well as it initially did, things are still looking good to continue the proton radiation therapy.  However, there will be no more chemotherapy, her body just can't handle any more.

We appreciate the texts, cards, messages, positive thoughts and many prayers that have been sent her way.
