Dana Stein
As many of you know, this has been a particularly difficult season in Dana's treatment journey. Although her side effects have improved significantly, she is still dealing with ongoing symptoms. These may worsen again after her next round of treatment at Duke later this week.
Alongside the medical appointments, treatments, and uncertainty, there are many day-to-day burdens that come with this journey — transportation, household expenses, meals, lost work time, and other unexpected costs that add up quickly. Most significantly, as part of her clinical trial, she will need to travel to Duke University at least once a month for ongoing care, for the foreseeable future. This adds substantial travel-related expenses including airfare, hotels, meals on the road, etc.
Dana and Josh are deeply grateful for the many ways peoplec ontinue to show up with care, encouragement, meals, messages, prayers, and practical help. Every act of kindness has meant so much and continues to remind them how strong their community is and how loved they are.
For those who have asked how else they can help, financial support is the most meaningful way to lighten the load right now. Any contribution, no matter the size, helps reduce stress and allows more energy to be focused where it belongs: on healing, comfort, and time together.
If giving financially is not possible, please know that every form of support matters and is deeply appreciated. Sharing this page, checking in, offering practical help, and keeping her in your thoughts and prayers all make a real difference.
Thank you for surrounding this family with compassion, generosity, and love. Dana and Josh are grateful for every way this community is walking alongside Dana through her journey.
