Colton Hilden
It was a tough night of balancing Colton's meds.
This morning he is off iv pain meds (so just "oral" pain meds through his g tube) and his catheter was removed. He sat up (assisted) for about a minute and has been dealing with muscle spasms since - even though he's maxed out on muscle relaxers. He is the toughest kid I've ever seen; chuckling at our fart jokes despite being so uncomfortable.
They took his stroller/wheelchair to be sanitized and I'm thinking he will be moved from the picu to the regular surgical rooms tonight. We might push to stay in the picu if his spasms don't get under control.
