Jack had a bit of a rough morning today. He kept getting sick this morning. But finally around 11 he was able to keep his food down. The vomiting is tumor related not radiation related. So it's just comes with the territory unfortunately.
He got himself a nice little cat nap in on our way to KU. His Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Cunningham gave us some nice info today. There are 2 studies that she's found for after radiation that as of now, Jack qualifies. She said they look hopeful for him. We don't have anymore information than that. She also told us she's meeting with a National Tumor board next week, Thursday or Friday, she will be presenting Jack's case to 40 other doctors. She will call us with an update after she talks with them.
Tyler and I always seem to feel a little better after talking with her. Knowing there are 40+ doctors looking into his case is awesome. We also got a new medicine to try to combat the vomiting.
Krista has been a trooper. She's so understanding and strong. She has been feeling a bit left out from all the gifts being sent to Jack. So we are trying to comfort her and keep conversations open to help her cope. We're trying to get her a few extra special things so she feel equally important. She's truly so amazing.
Continued prayers for a miracle, strength and no side effects from the radiation.

The trips for radiation are rough and can wear a healthy person out! You know we all are keeping you all in our prayers!

Give Krista some hugs from Grace, she said she hopes she's playing volleyball!

It’s what we do with these challenges, that shows our faith and resilience.
JL is not a typical kid with this demon.
Stay strong!
