Jackson started his radiation treatments today. We got to go in and see where he will be everyday and got to see his mask. He was very excited to see what Nurse Sarah made for him. He loved it. We told him he looked like a swamp monster and that made him laugh. We stayed in while they put his mask on and got him dialed in.
The whole process took maybe 15 minutes! So the drive there and home is the longest part of the day. He came out happy & silly. He asked for ice cream once we get home, which he'll get.
His nurse said that we shouldn't notice and side effects. All future appointments will be late afternoon at 4:00pm. So he will be able to be at school for a majority of the day! Which is exciting to be able to keep things more "normal".
Continue praying for zero progression & zero spreading. Prayers for healing, strength and of course a miracle.
We are still so shocked at how much support & love is being shown to our family. We will never be able to thank you all enough.
