Because of you, we reached our first milestone goal within 24 hours. We are BLOWN AWAY. 

 

There truly aren’t words to describe what that means to our family. The love, generosity, prayers, messages and shares have carried us in ways you probably don’t even realize. Thank you for rallying behind Cole so quickly and so wholeheartedly. 

 

As we continue to learn more about ALS and what this journey will look like, we know that the needs ahead will be ever-changing. Equipment, home modifications, travel to appointments, care support — this is a road that requires flexibility and long-term planning. Reaching our first goal gave us breathing room, and for that we are incredibly grateful. We will keep everyone up-to-date here as needs arise. 💙

 

We are also looking ahead to August 29th in Pekin, where we will be hosting a golf outing and dueling pianos benefit. Our hope is to create something for everyone — whether you golf, come for the music, sponsor, volunteer or simply show up to stand with Cole. It will be a day and evening centered around community, strength, and support. More to come VERY soon. 

 

For those who know Cole from his hockey days, you know he built his career on grit, leadership and quiet toughness. He was strong on the blue line — steady, protective, dependable. That same strength is what he’s carrying into this fight. And now, he has an entire team behind him. 

 

The support you’re showing him right now? That matters. It strengthens him. It strengthens all of us.
