Cody's Comeback
Cody has his renal (kidney) check-in today to make sure his kidneys have been tolerating his chemo treatments. Tomorrow is his big MIBG scan, which is one of the most important scans for neuroblastoma. In simple terms, the MIBG scan lights up any active cancer cells in his body and gives a score based on how much disease is present.
Last time, his score was 26/30.
For him to move forward with stem cell transplant on 12/29, he needs to be below 10.

Scan days are always the hardest...hours of waiting, days of worrying, and holding your breath. But even in the heaviness and the unknown, we know the Lord is with us, with Cody, and with every step ahead. It is gut-wrenching as parents, but we are leaning on God’s strength and the prayers of our community.
Please pray specifically for:
- A scan score below 10
- No new areas of disease
- Kidneys and other organs to stay strong
- Supernatural peace for Cody during the scan
- Strength, steadiness, and comfort for us as parents
- Clear paths forward for his medical team
