Discharged

Christian got discharged from the hospital this evening! 🙌🏻 His pain is more under control, so we’re back at the Ronald McDonald House for the rest of the week. 
He’s still pretty weak, and when he tries to do things on his own, he sometimes falls—which scares me every single time! But he’s determined to keep trying, so I stay close by to catch him when he needs me. He keeps me VERY busy during the day! 
He’s in good spirits, though, and today marked the start of Week 4 of radiation!  Over half of his hair has become extremely thin or fallen out from the radiation, while the other half just keeps growing. When we head home this weekend, we’ll have to buzz the part that’s still growing.
Please continue to pray for Christian and our family, share his story, and keep him in your thoughts. Every prayer, share, donation, and thoughtful message means more to us than you know. We thank God for you all each day. 
I’m sorry I haven’t been able to reply to everyone. By the time Christian goes to sleep, I’m usually asleep right behind him! But please know that we feel the love and the prayers, and we are so incredibly grateful for every single one of you.
