Unfortunate update

Just came from the plastic surgeeon.  The drains weren't draining properly so I lost 9 days and basically today is Day 1 as if I were just coming home from the hospital.  I had been so hopeful they might come out soon.  They're not.  Next week my son is in nevcada for 10 days so if anyone is able to drive me anywhere so I am not stranded at home or just visit I would appreciate it.  Thank you.  This is just not getting easier.

Oh no! I am so, so sorry to hear this. I HATED those drains. They were one of the worst parts of the initial recovery. They will be taken out but I know it can never be fast enough. Do everything you can to be patient with yourself and your body. You will slowly start to feel better but it takes a lot of time. My only suggestion is to take naps. I never slept as much as I did the first month post-surgery. Don’t fight the sleepiness.
