There's truly no easy way to say any of this so I'll do my best to update everyone..

Mom was able to get her PET scan completed and the results showed that on top of her neuroendocrine tumor that has showed back up there is another cancer called gastro esophageal carcinoma that was found. This isn't the information we wanted.. but it's what we are faced with. 

With that said... mom has chosen to do treatment to fight back. Her health is our top priority right now and with the sick season this means that we will limit visitors which I know is very hard for us all because so many people love our mom.

This treatment will be an aggressive treatment since this cancer is aggressive. We ask for prayers for her health and spirit to stay positive during the hardest time of her life. Prayers for her strength to be strong and her body to fight back and all cancer and illness to be ridden of her body. Prayers for the doctors, nurses and care team that is the brains behind and hands on moms healing journey. 

We can not thank you enough for all the support that has poured in whether it be through prayers, donations, cards, flowers and care packages it means the world to us. We can not do this without the village we have behind us so thank you again... so much! 

I also want to add some extra prayers for our Dad.. (he's gonna huff when he see's this but I don't care ;) he needs the prayers too). I ask for Prayers for strength as the leader of our family. Prayers for comfort as I know we are failing to comfort him as he puts on a brave face for us all especially our momma. Our dad is our mom's "person" and he has a front row seat at the love of his life facing the worst time in her life. 

Once treatment starts I will post another update so we can all be specific in our prayers and come together to pray over mom during that time as well. Thank you all for taking time to read this.
