Phew. What a wiiiild two weeks. Let’s recap.

For the past 2 weeks, Camilla did a PT (physical therapy) DMI (dynamic movement intervention) intensive with All Kids Are Perfect.

She did 20 sessions in 10 days and worked with anywhere from 2-4 therapists/techs/aids at a time.

During her intensive, Camilla did so much more than “practice sitting”.👇🏼

✿She began working through some of her primitive reflexes that are holding her back from developing physically.
✿She built core strength and practiced co-contracting musicale groups to maintain posture.
✿She learned how to use vestibular input and info from her inner ears as a tool for her brain to figure out where she is in space.
✿She built up her brain’s strength and ability to interpret data from her eyes and then make a response plan.
✿She improved her core and neck strength.
✿She began laying the foundation for wrist and shoulder strength.
✿She expanded her communication methods and greatly shortened her “thinking time” between hearing something and verbally responding.
✿She unlocked new noises and the ability to nod yes!
✿She grew her confidence and trust with herself.
✿She learned that she is capable of more than she thought.
✿She was fit for a new piece of equipment.
✿She was set up with a home plan that will continue to add to her strength and flexibility.

All of this was possible because of YOU. Thank you so much for your generosity, love, and support.

💝Please consider donating to Camilla’s therapy fund to help her stay in therapies (like this one) that truly make a difference.
