Caleb is doing good. He still feels crummy but compared to the other days he’s feeling a little better. 

 

Dr. Benedict, the neurosurgeon, removed his bandages and said it was a beautifully done closure. Caleb will have to stand/walk either today or tomorrow. 

He said Caleb has some motor function in his face and he’s hopeful. Nerves take time to “wake” or heal but the fact that Caleb has some function of his left side is a glimpse of him having function restored to that side.  

 

The hardest part was the surgery and that’s over with. Caleb is strong and he’ll be able to get through this next phase with the Lord’s help.  God is not done with Caleb yet, this is just another story he gets to tell about the goodness and faithfulness of God!
