Caleb Soto
Caleb has progressed in his recovery so much. All of his therapists (speech, occupational, and physical) and doctors believe he is ready to be discharged! I’m so proud of the hard work he’s put in.
We are in the process of learning how to help Caleb in his everyday care but for the most part he’s doing great on his own. Going into surgery we weren’t sure what to expect since the doctors were working with a sensitive part of his brain, but he has done great and is doing a lot of things on his own. The therapists here have done a fantastic job working with him, coaching him, and showing me how to come alongside him in his recovery.
The doctors will remove the staples that were used for the incision and Caleb will be coming home today!
He will continue therapy in Tennessee until he is all clear to resume work again, then we plan on making our way back down. We know Caleb will require hearing aids in the future but the date is still tbd.
I will continue to post updates on Caleb’s progress but with his progression they will be less frequently.
Thank you to everyone that has reached out, prayed, supported us in any way. We are so thankful for each one of you.
