Sorry about the misunderstanding, Zech got back home from his second hospital stay yesterday the 17th of July. We were immediately greeted by some friends and lots of goodies including beautiful prayer shawls ❤️
Zech is doing wonderful and is in such amazing spirits. His beautiful smile is so healing to our hearts and we're so happy it hasn't been tainted.
Visiting the Somers fire and rescue station today was incredible! The kids had a blast seeing all the amazing vehicles and even getting to cruise around in the fire truck! Zech's smile, giggles, and laughs made our hearts so full ❤️ he has already asked when can we go again lol. He got 2 more RC cars (and so much more) and was having a blast driving them around. They were given tons of candy, which they loved, and took full advantage of lol. We can't put into words how much this visit meant to pur whole family. Healing from the trauma has been our family's whole goal and this was huge in helping to do that.
We still have lots to figure out and Travis and I are slowly recovering from sleep deprivation. Luckily grandma is able to stay with us and help us get our feet under us again as life feels so overwhelming right now.
It has been such a wonder seeing how much the community near and far has gathered around us to show love and support. We can't believe how many people's lives have been touched by Zech's story ❤️ we could never have imagined the overwhelming support we have recieved, thank you all so much ❤️
Praise God for all the miracles that have happened in order for Zech to still be here and the miracles that are still happening and will happen as time goes on. God is so good and each one of our kids are learning to trust God and lean on Him during times of immense trial. Our prayer is that this will bring them closer to God and they will see as Travis and I cling to God, that He truly is the only source of strength and peace we will need to overcome this tragedy. We can't wait to see the good God is going to turn this into ❤️🙌🏼
