A Big Step Forward — Branson Opened His Eyes Today ❤️🙏

Today we got a really encouraging sign from Branson. ❤️

For the first time since the accident, Branson opened his eyes on his own, and he has opened them several times today. He doesn’t appear to fully understand what’s going on yet and he isn’t following commands, but it is still very early, and he remains on a lot of medication.

After days of his eyes remaining completely closed, seeing him open them on his own feels like such an important step in the right direction.

We know recovery from this kind of brain injury takes time, and we are taking every little bit of progress as it comes. Today, we are simply incredibly grateful that Branson opened his eyes. ❤️🙏
