not quite, coach. The concession stand is only offering ice chips. They hope to offer clear liquids tomorrow. Big league chew won't be available for months! 

The second inning was successful and entertaining! There was a lot of napping, some heavy muscle relaxers, a few strolls around the bases, a shout out from famous rapper Waka Flaka Flame, balloons/flowers from our friends Missy & John, and sitting upright in a recliner chair with an accessible remote control to sports center.  

Piper and Maggie prefer Hallmark and Lifetime but the patient disagrees--so we will let him get his way this time. 

The doctor has prescribed some great medications to control the pain and discomfort... but the BEST medicine was the visit from baby Davis and baby Tripp and the visit from Maggie's friends (Mallory and Bo) who prayed and read scripture with us.

The surgeon, nurses, and OT/PT are amazed at his progress this quickly after a Whipple. He is truly in the game with blood, sweat, and tears! 

But we know that all of this strength is found in Christ, the only strength that will not fail you. He is strong enough to carry your burdens with you as you run the race with endurance (Hebrews 12:1)

So, let's keep playing ball and praising the lord! ⚾️🐻 BEAR STRONG
