Asher had a change in his breathing pattern on the 21st. The pulmonologist that we saw tried a few different treatments and they didn’t make any difference and they advised that we try the ventilator at night for two weeks to see if it made a difference. We did as instructed and were trying to establish care with another doctor this morning and she immediately sent us to the ER. I told her what we had done had not made any difference. They did some tests and treatments in the ER. On paper he looks great. They have no idea why he is breathing the way he is so they admitted us to the PICU.
They’re supposed to consult ENT to see if they can scope him to see if there’s granulation tissue in his trachea that might be causing an obstruction with exhalation.
Ezra can’t stay this time so I don’t know what we’re gonna do as far as sleeping arrangements since he is still not eating solids. Lift up our boys. Pray against hospital bugs and for a very short stay. We’re in the same room that we were admitted to the day of the accident. How amazing would it be if the Father brought us back to the same place to be able to show off in front of the crowd that doubted so much that He would do anything for this little boy.
