Sorry I’m a bit delayed on this update. I feel like lately every time I make an update I’m apologizing for being behind.
We were able to discharge home Sunday afternoon on BIPAP. He’s on antibiotics for triple respiratory infection and two new medicines for seizures and hypertonia. We are not excited about those since they work directly on the central nervous system and we don’t need any additional insult to that.
He had two vasovagal episodes while pooping. They did CPR both times. But the first time he just had bradycardia. The second time he actually flatlined. He’s never done anything remotely like that at home so everybody’s pretty confused about it.
We are not wavering in unbelief concerning the promise of God, but are growing strong in faith and giving glory to God, fully convinced that God is able to do what He has promised.
“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.”
Psalm 100:1-5
