I’ve been trying to write this update for a week and a half. We had to take Asher to the ER because his ears started draining large amounts of pus and his primary doctor was worried about mastoiditis or necrotizing otitis externa. He didn’t have either. But the RT assigned to him was one that took care of us while we were in the hospital. I told him we were still waiting on God to raise him up and that it is going to happen. He thinks we’re nuts, but he was polite.  

We also ran into two other staff at the specialty clinic who were on Asher’s care team. One of them was one of his favorites. She always talked to him when she did stuff and he cooperated with her. He preferred that over the staff that just went to pulling and tugging. 

Micah has asked in the past if ABBA is really going to raise Asher up. I reminded her what His Word says and encouraged her to talk to Him. She asked me recently when He is going to get Asher up. I told her to go to the prayer room and ask and see what He says. So she goes and comes back like 15 minutes later. I asked what the Father told her. She said, “He said when the time is right, He’ll get him up.” We talked about how she heard Him. She explained how she asked and then just sat and waited until He gave her an answer.  That was joy to my mama heart because she’s been struggling with the two way conversation expecting it to be like you and I talking. 

We have MRNI at home this week. We also have an appointment with the pulmonologist and are hoping to finally be able to establish another primary care doc for him. 

Keep our sweet boy in prayer! We’ve had a big in our home and he has struggled with it the most. Asher is healed in Jesus’ name!
