I’ve struggled lately and wrestled with the Holy Spirit on how to share, how much to share, when to share, with whom, etc what we have been experiencing. I want to apologize to those of you who have been waiting for updates. Not all of our journey is for everyone. We understand the enemy is hard at work and there are some people who have been following that are on the side of darkness. How do we know this? Well, first off because when we had an organized prayer call someone on the call used it as an opportunity to record porn while we were praying. I didn’t have my phone in my hand while we were praying and didn’t find out until the call had ended when a few sisters reached out and told me what they saw. Some people may think we are nuts by the time we cross the finish line of this season of our lives and move into the next. That’s okay. “For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.” Galatians 1:10

I have been prompted to share now as if Asher’s physical healing has already been brought to full completion and not to treat it as some day far off before we share what we’ve learned about our Father’s character. Jesus gave us all authority over every affliction and sickness (Matthew 10:1). We were always of the belief that God ordained sickness on certain people for purposes far beyond our understanding. During our hospital stay as we repeatedly read Scriptures over Asher and prayed God’s Word back to Him on our boy’s behalf it occurred to us that we have misjudged our Father’s character. Jesus only did what He saw His Father do and only said what He heard His Father say (John 5:19) and He said if we have seen Him we have seen the Father (John 14:9). His Father is our Father. When you want to see what someone is going to do, you look at their track record. What have they done in the past? Jesus healed ALL who came to Him (Matthew 8:16). Whether by faith of their own or faith of their friends, those who came to Him received their healing. Jesus bore our infirmities (Isaiah 53:4 and Matthew 8:17). Part of His death and resurrection was not just forgiveness of sins and reconciliation to the Father. Yes, that is a miracle in and of itself, but part of His death and resurrection was so we could be victorious over physical ailments and walk in the authority He gave when He overcame death (Luke 10:19, Matthew 10:1). Part of our commission as believers is to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the leper, and cast out demons (Matthew 10:8, Mark 16:15-18). Would you believe that raising the dead is an ELEMENTARY doctrine of Christ (Hebrews 6:2)?! Every one of us should be walking in this authority; He commanded it. 

How can we be so sure Asher is going to be raised up? We should be able to command him to be healed, right? That’s what Jesus did. That’s what His disciples did.  We are disciples. We are babies in this ideology. We still have so much to learn. Even the 12 who walked with Him and saw Him perform miracles struggled to cast out the demon from the boy in Matthew 17:19. We believe our Father’s Word. We believe Him when He says He sustains him on his sickbed and restores him to full health (Psalm 41:3). We believe that He is the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). None of us come to any revelation about His Word unless He chooses to reveal it to us. He is a good Father. He did not show us this about His character to dangle it in front of us like a carrot. In His perfect timing Asher is going to be raised up. The testimony coming from this will heal many, many who didn’t have any hope before. Vision after vision, confirmation after confirmation, prophecy after prophecy all submitted as evidence into the Courts of Heaven that we enter with praise and thanksgiving. satan himself has visited me twice and offered to restore Asher’s body. That alone encourages me because I KNOW the Father has big things for him otherwise the enemy wouldn’t try so hard. Am I nuts? It doesn’t matter if you think so. And I don’t say that to be nasty. 

There’s so much more. But, for now, that’s where we’re at. We love you guys. We are so grateful for everyone who has continued standing with us, contending with us, praying for us and for Asher, filling the angels’ bowls so that they can be poured out (Rev 5:8). We are thankful for the provision the Father has provided through so many of you as we continue to try therapies to make Asher more comfortable while we wait for the miracle to be complete. He loves y’all so much, so much more than you can even imagine. He certainly has bathed us in His love during this time. So gracious. So faithful. So good. Be blessed and don’t be discouraged by the delay. There are so many intricacies we don’t fully understand with regard to legal rights of the enemy, the Courts, cleansing, etc. But the Father continues to reveal layer by layer. In this wilderness He still provides, He still comforts, He still protects. 

If you ask us how Asher is, I’m going to respond with, “He is healed in Jesus’ name” because the work is done. Jesus said, “It is finished.” We await the moment the physical catches up to the spiritual. All praises to Yahuah on High, Ancient of Days, Rock of Ages, Abba, Jehova Rapha, Jireh, El Shaddai.
