After struggling yesterday with oxygen saturation due to over sedation, I was able to get the docs to adjust the meds today so Asher had a much better day. He's been CPAPing still, maintaining good tidal volumes, lung compliance and rate. Respiratory cultures are finally clear. His bite block was removed today by ENT; they'll come back by in the morning to reassess. 

He is scheduled for a trach and G tube Thursday morning. The ENT explained issues they expect to run into due to being intubated for such a long period of time (damage to vocal cords, damage to trachea, damage to swallowing muscles/structures). Both ENT and General Surgery think their procedures will be permanent. I boldly told them these are just interim solutions to get us back to baseline. They think I'm nuts...oh well. 

We are standing on Yah's Word. We are declaring healing. We are speaking life over every part of his body and blessing each area they say will have issues. We are looking toward the healing to come, not today. Pray with us that every part of Asher would be restored and the only thing changed in him from before the accident to now would be that he has a mighty story to tell. What the devil meant for evil will be used for the good of many. People will come to believe when they see the miracle completed in Asher. They will fear Yahuah on High and fall down at His feet. Pray that if Yah doesn't command Asher to get up and walk before Thursday that the hands operating will be the hands of our Great Physician. We know healing is coming, we just don't know what the path to healing looks like. Pray for us to stay steadfast, focused on Messiah and not on the storm.
