This is so hard. I woke up this morning giving thanks for another day to see Asher's healing, to see Yah's power working in him. We told the doctor on shift last night he was going to be healed and chasing her down the hallway when she refused to give Yah credit for Asher being revived and wanted to credit medicines and the acts of man's hands alone. We are standing on faith that he will be healed.
A sister sent me the verse Habakkuk 2:3 last night-For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end-it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
Many of you don't know that before we got pregnant with our 4th child I was having dreams of people asking me how many children I had and I was telling them 4. Not long after, I was having dreams that I was pregnant with a 4th and it was a little boy. Following that, I had dreams that I was pregnant with a 4th, it was a little boy, and what his name was. A couple months later I got pregnant and it was a boy. We did not have to choose the name because it was given to us. As my pregnancy neared the end and the apprehension of birthing another child came to a head, I was reminded that I was shown this vision of telling people in casual, happy conversation that we have 4 children. I was able to rest in that and know that this baby would come to us safely. That vision I saw in those multiple dreams has not yet passed. I am waiting on that, when we are out of here with all FOUR of my beautiful children.
They are weaning his versed today and trying to reach out to a dentist to see if they can do anything for his tongue. His tidal volumes on the breaths he takes on his own are still small. We need those to be deeper and with less pressure support so we can get off the ventilator. They added another diuretic to help get more fluid off him as well.
Continue to stand with us and pray for his miraculous healing. We and some others will be fasting tonight at sundown to Saturday at sundown and praying for Asher. We'd love it if you'd join us and intercede on behalf of this precious little life.
