Hello, family and friends-

I am so excited to share a donor has come through. This means I can start my Bone Marrow Transplant! The date is scheduled for January 5.  What a way to start the new year. Life resurrected!

I have given up my apartment in Franklin with plans to return there when the BMT is behind me. 

I am grateful to my friend Norma Jean who will be my main support person in the two months following the transplant. She has also welcomed me into her home for these trips & now for the month of December. I couldn't do this w/o her.

There are so many other people I want to thank, but am concerned I will leave someone out.  Please know every card, call, donation of money, food & time is appreciated beyond words. Along with all the ppl who have given me rides to & from Franklin & Charlotte. Giving up my independence to be able to drive was really hard. Your generosity of time & wear on your car does not go unnoticed. Getting to know you better w/ the time riding has been an unexpected gift. 

Last, but not least I have so much appreciation for my  Oncologist, Thomas Knight  & my whole team of a social worker, RN Navigator, financial Navigator, PA, NP & all the nurses and aids I have met along the way.  Truly a great group of ppl. I am well cared for! 

I continue to feel your Love, prayers & healing thoughts. Keep them coming. I have a challenging road ahead, but I trust life is going to improve so much for me. You have been such a part of that. Thank you ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜! Happy Thanksgiving! 🙏🏽
