Hello Family and Friends, 

  It’s been a while since we touched base. I wanted to give you an update of where I am in my treatment. After seven days in the hospital receiving additional chemotherapy to kill off the rest of the leukemia cells, I receive my BMT tomorrow. The next seven to 10 days after that are projected to be my most challenging days where the new cells are trying to graft onto my existing bones. These will be my most trying times, so all prayers and good thoughts are appreciated. 

  I will be in the hospital until approximately February 11 when I’ll be discharged for outpatient treatment. My spirits remain pretty high still. I’m looking at tomorrow, bone marrow transplant day, as the beginning of a new life for myself. I’m curious what will unfold.
