Monday 4/14

11:00am - - I slept at hospital and mom was funny last night due to anesthesia.  She kept saying her scoreboard looked great and she scored 100 (she was talking about her vitals monitor and oxygen beign at 100).   So cute.  She was very chatty last night but is now drained.

She's was in a bit of pain but they have it better managed now and it's too be expected.  We have one of her favorite nurses today and she's AMAZING at advocating for mom - she figured out how to get meds adjusted for a bit more comfort and rest.  We've already met with a bunch of doctor's this morning.  Hopefully she has a restful day today to heal.  

I've been telling mom how amazing our village is and we are so thankful.  Her best friend decided to stay in town longer vs leaving today so now we are just balancing life and taking it one hour at a time.  Our cousin (mom's only niece) will also probably come up soon to help give Amy and myself a break - still figuring everything out.   We've been reading comments from here to mom and I let her know about all the texts and emails etc.
