Good morning everyone: Aiden continues to be in the ICU for additional monitoring. Currently, his intestines are not functioning, which we have been told could be a result of the surgery along with having bile backed up in his feeding tube. The bile is somewhat in the middle range. His stools are darker than what they want, which can be an indication of internal bleeding. This could also be old blood as well. Having regular bowel movements will help determine old vs. new blood. Aiden has been watching some Halloween movies the last few days and appears to be more awake - which is a great sign! We are waiting for the doctor this morning to provide us a more detailed plan of action. Thank you all for your support, prayers and love.
