Day 52 - WOW!!!

Gigi made it back to Alabama today. Day 52!

Angie has made huge strides! Below are a few things I noticed today:

She doesn’t need the lift of her chair to get up and transfer to her wheelchair any longer, she can stand up and pivot on her own.

She can unload the dishwasher! And if something goes into an upper cabinet, she can stand up to put it away.

She can make mini no-bake cheesecakes with minimal assistance.

She can wear jeans! Today was her first day getting jeans on - Adam has to assist on this but she was all smiles.

She can do her makeup! She wheeled herself into the bedroom and came out looking like a rockstar today!

And on top of all that, what a beautiful, happy little family.

Tomorrow is the big one.

X-Rays of pelvis, arms, ribs.

We will update you tomorrow…. Fingers crossed that the surgeon releases her medically for picking up 10 lbs (a little more than Anaya weighs) and walking!

We will definitely update you tomorrow!
