As promised, here is our Day 53 update!

The ortho appointment went well. Angie’s breaks are healing good enough for her to start walking! Within 30 minutes of leaving ortho, we had a walker in the van that Angie had used immediately to leave the store. Adam was more than happy to push the empty wheelchair. She was definitely worn out after a trip to the grocery store!

The doctor would like Angie to be able to lift some weights to build up her muscles before she attempts to pick up the baby. But we are going to start working on that right away now that it is allowed.

We appreciate the support, assistance and prayers given. If you are able to help, Angie and Adam would be so grateful. With caring for Angie and Anaya full time, Adam has not been able to return to work still. Below are a couple of different avenues that can help them with both current and long term needs:

As many of you know, I make jewelry. Last weekend, I started a fund raising event with my Etsy page. All sales in September were going direct to Angie and Adam. In five days, through sales of jewelry and donations from friends and family, I was able to give them the funds for their September electric bill. I have decided to extend this through October to be able to cover October’s bill as well…. And maybe even November and December! Shop at CoastalCoconut.etsy.com and 100% of all sales go straight to Angie and Adam.

Here is a link to their Wish List on Amazon (we keep adding things that pop into our heads). Everything gets shipped to them…. And you can even select something to surprise them with as well that isn’t on their list!

Or Adam has Venmo and that can be used for things like fuel in the car, groceries, etc.  His ID is @h31st or you can send it to @coconutdawn and I can send it direct to him.

If you know of anyone who hauls cars on a semi, we are also looking to get Adam’s Camaro shipped from Tucson so that he can get that fixed and on the road so that Angie will have the van once she is healed up.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel… we don’t know how long it will take to get there, but we keep moving in the right direction.

Thank you!
