Help Angie & Adam After Major Accident
Wow.
So much time has passed! Almost seven weeks!
In the last week there have been a few updates:
Medical: Physical therapy out of the home is finally scheduled - the first available appointment is October 21 - over four weeks away! The in home therapist had his last visit today but he is sending over more exercises for Angie to do. Angie can now touch her thumb to each of her finger tips on her left hand! She is using her robotic glove multiple times a day to keep those fingers moving and the therapist had never seen that kind of a glove before and was glad to see her using it.
No doctor appointments this week. The next follow up is 10/1 where Angie will get all of her X-Rays done again and will meet with the orthopedic surgeon to see what the next steps are in her therapy/healing. We are hoping for two things: first, that she is allowed to learn to lift/carry Anaya with her right arm
Meal Prep Reviews: Angie & Adam have loved all of their meals (except Adam thinks the broccoli cheddar soup needs more cheddar).
Anaya is becoming more of a chatterbox - she loves spending time with mama! She is also loving kicking her little legs!
A few nights ago they were happy that they all made it to bed before midnight... when I called them tonight at 8:15pm Central time, they were all tucked in bed after a busy day with therapy and the grocery.
In today's pic - Anaya in her super swaddle (Adam is an expert swaddler!) with her happy little grin! Pic was from 9/10.
Until next time.....
