Help Angie & Adam After Major Accident
Day 5 Update (posted morning of Day 6)
Angie was told that they were going to do an attempt at another IV line again. Instead of having the students come in to try again, they brought in one of their best to do the IV. The amazing thing is is that when he saw her name, he said, didn’t you have a baby a few weeks ago? He was the one who installed Angie‘s IV after other people kept missing her veins for her to be induced for labor. Due to her issues with getting IVs and her small veins he said my name is Sean and from now on if you ever need IV just ask for me and I will come do it.
When I got to the hospital, I was surprised to see that Angie didn’t have any tubes through her mouth and nose anymore. Because Sean had gotten the IV in they also removed her central line which is IV in the neck that goes the neck straight down to the heart. So it was much better to see that just bandaged up.
Angie was in good spirits and had watched some television. She said it was nice to feel present that day because she’s just felt kind of loopy ever since she got there.
Anaya and I got home yesterday evening and went to bed at 10 o’clock. She had a good night sleep as well and only woke up at two to get feed and then didn’t wake up again until seven. That means I got some rest as well.
Angie did want Adam to go and check with the different shelters looking for Taz yesterday. It didn’t yield any information but the last place he went to recommended he called the investigating officer. The officer was very insightful and gave Adam lots of information that he didn’t know. Taz did not survive the accident.
