I love this question and I find it to be so challenging. 

I love this question bc it shows me people are praying - really praying - for little Zeke. 

And I find it challenging bc it’s not an easy answer. It’s hard to put into 1-5 sentences what we are walking through right now. 

And I want to be honest but not totally overwhelm the person asking. 

This is challenging. Really, really challenging. We are tired. We are at a loss. He is still waking up 3-5x a night with very painful gas bubbles. 

We have consulted with our professionals, tried suggestions and added the supplements. Nothing has worked yet. 

We have been told his digestive system might be in the middle of a change and it might take time. How long, we wonder. 

He had a rough two days again so we have had to pull back on the food and focus on the hydration. We are praying this will restart his digestion and motility by doing our refeeding protocol again. Will you pray for that? Will you pray his digestion turns on and works perfectly? Will you pray he begins sleeping 10 hours a night again without wake ups? Will you pray for Jon’s heart to be encouraged? 

Will you pray for me? I’m struggling with a lot of panic and anxiety over several different things - Zeke, my mom, my own health concerns - and I would really appreciate the prayer. I need God’s calming presence to just hover over me. I need my body to recognize what my mind knows - that God is evident and working in our lives. That He is Sovereign and Good.

And will you pray for my mom Diane right now? She fell and is at the hospital. And will you pray for my sister Shannon as she is at the hospital with her?
