We are headed home.

Picture is of Zeke with his buddy, Mr. Rey, who has been our nurse for several of our visits. He is getting Zeke ready to go home.

A peek at God’s goodness:
One thing we have learned in our journey is that our doctors, nurses, holistic practitioners and therapists become like dear friends - bc they understand our journey a little deeper than others might be able to. And they usually get to see the good and the ugly (some of these dear people have seen me ugly cry more times than I want to admit) and can encourage us in unique ways. This is not something we ever expected in this journey but it’s something we have become extremely grateful for. It’s one of God’s fingerprints on our situation.

We don’t have an answer for this bicarb mystery, but I am encouraged bc God gave me a little nod of encouragement today about which endocrinologist to make an appointment with. One of our favorite doctors at Palms West shared with us that he knows and has worked with the endocrinologist I found!! This is a huge blessing bc this is the same doctor who also gave us some suggestions for our GI, which has been a good experience overall. Will you pray that we can get into the endocrinologist and all the right tests can be done to determine if this bicarb situation has anything to do with the endocrine system?

Please remember to pray for Six and Seven. Even though our crisis has come to a close, they are still in the middle of theirs. My heart is heavy for them. Would commit to praying every day for them for the next week?
