Friends,
Will you pray specifically for George Winslow? He is our hearing officer and the one who will be deciding the case. Will you pray that the Lord will soften his heart toward Zeke and this case? That he will clearly see that this denial is out of alignment with federal and state law?
Will you pray that not only will he order that Medicaid cover this intensive for Zeke, but that he will order that intensives should always be covered for Zeke from here on out?
Romans 9:18
Therefore God has mercy on whom He wants to have mercy, and He hardens whom He wants to harden.
Lord, we come together as a community of people and pray specifically for George Winslow. We pray that even now, you will begin softening his heart toward this case. That he will have wisdom and compassion beyond his capability - a wisdom and compassion that can only come from you. We know that you are Sovereign and that all of your plans will come to pass for Zeke and our family. We also know that you tell us to come to you with our heart's desires. Lord, I ask that you will move in Mr. Winslow's heart that he might not only order for this intensive to be covered, but that he will also order that this will always need to be covered for Zeke moving forward based on the laws I have presented to him.
Lord, we also pray for the doctor on the call. Please glue his lips together any time he is about to say anything negative, unkind, mean or language of death about sweet Zeke. I pray that the doctors and lawyers on the call will only be permitted to speak truth and life. Literally silence their tongues if they open their mouths to speak evil or lies.
Lord, you are our Shepherd. You give us everything we need. Even though my heart is racing and my anxiety is high, I pray that I can rest calmly in your pasture knowing that nothing will come through those gates unless you allow it. And even if you allow it, you are with me.
Thank you for this group of people to pray with me and for me and my family Lord. I pray that each person reading and joining us in this prayer time will experience a unique blessing that only you can give. Allow them to experience your joy and peace in a new way - including myself and my family.
Thank you for Mr. Winslow. He is part of our story and I pray that if he does not know you yet, that as you soften his heart toward this case, you will also soften his heart toward you.
