Wow. What an amazing 3 days.

I didn’t post yesterday bc truthfully the GI Map really discouraged me and I had to process with the Lord and some trusted friends and resources to help me get perspective. I didn’t want you to have to come on that particular roller coaster with me.

I guess I’ll start there. The good news is the C. Doff continues to decrease but I was so upset to find out the h.pylori is back. 😭 On one hand I’m grateful to know bc that explains Zeke’s late night wake ups, deep gas bubbles and some of the icky vents we have gotten. But I’m sad bc it’s back and I’m not sure what the doctors are going to recommend. We have worked so hard on his gut and I don’t want to see all that hard work go down the drain with the protocol. Sigh. I’m looking forward to see what the functional doc says.

We did send out our Mitoswab test this week as well so that should be back in 4-8 weeks. Interested to see those results.

Zeke is doing amazing at Ability with Tally. He was sitting up today with very little assistance from her. She said today she realized she needs to pull back on the assistance bc he will use it to the fullest instead of trying to work on his own! He is a smart cookie lol. Work smarter not harder. But this is an intensive so she made him work HARD today. He had a blast but is so tired.

My heart is really blessed to see the bond that was quickly forged between Tally and Zeke. I fully believe this to be a God thing. He trusts her already and pretty much is up for whatever she wants to do.

She let him “fly” today in suspension which he loved. She is working a lot with him on grasping and releasing. And she is trying to get those hamstrings to let go and relax a bit!

Will you pray for her to have continued wisdom in what to do with Zeke each day for the most effective treatment? And that his hamstrings would turn off for a bit so his quads can work for a change?

The picture I posted doesn’t really do justice to the work that is being done but it is quite amazing.
