A struggling mom

Behind Every Strong Mom Is a Story Nobody Sees ❤️ Fundraising Goal: $10,000 I'm not someone who gives up easily. But I'm also learning that even the strongest people have a breaking point. I never imagined I would be sitting here writing something like this. I've always believed that if you work hard enough, put in the hours, and keep pushing forward, eventually things will get better. But what happens when you're doing everything you're supposed to do, and it's still not enough? I'm a mother working two jobs, trying desperately to provide for my family while quietly fighting battles that most people around me know nothing about. I get up, go to work, put a smile on my face, and do my best to make it through another day. From the outside, everything probably looks fine. But behind closed doors, the reality is very different. It's lying awake at night wondering which bill can wait another week. It's watching the money you've worked so hard to earn disappear before you've even had a chance to breathe. It's the constant worry about falling further behind, even though you're already giving everything you have. And lately, it's become something even more frightening. I'm living with a health condition that requires ongoing medical care and monthly medication. Unfortunately, I currently have no health insurance, and getting coverage has been another difficult obstacle. There is something heartbreaking about working two jobs and still having to worry about whether you can afford the medication your body needs. I shouldn't have to feel like I'm choosing between taking care of my health and keeping my bills paid. But that's the reality I'm facing. I don't want an extravagant lifestyle. I don't need expensive things. I don't expect someone else to carry my responsibilities. I just want to feel like I can breathe again. I want to wake up without that immediate feeling of dread in my stomach. I want to know that my transportation is secure so I can continue working. I want to afford my medication without sacrificing another necessity. I want to stop feeling like I'm one unexpected expense away from everything falling apart. And more than anything, I want to be able to focus on being the mother my family deserves, instead of constantly worrying about how I'm going to make everything work. The hardest part of all of this isn't even the money. It's feeling like no matter how hard I try, I can never quite catch up. I'm exhausted from being strong all the time. Exhausted from pretending everything is okay. Exhausted from trying to solve every problem on my own. But I'm not giving up. I'm still working. I'm still trying. I'm still showing up every single day. I'm simply asking for a little help getting back on my feet. My fundraising goal is $10,000. Any money raised would go toward catching up on essential bills, keeping reliable transportation, covering medication and medical expenses, and creating some much-needed financial stability. I'm choosing to remain anonymous because sharing these struggles publicly is incredibly difficult. I hope that even without knowing my name, you can see the person behind these words. A mother. A hardworking person. Someone who has spent so much time trying to hold everything together that she's finally admitting she needs a helping hand. If you've ever worked as hard as you possibly could and still felt like you were drowning, then you understand. If you're able to help, even with a few dollars, please know that your kindness would mean more than you could ever imagine. And if you can't donate, a kind thought or a little encouragement means something too. I'm not asking anyone to change my entire life. I'm asking for a chance to get back to a place where my hard work is enough to keep moving forward. Thank you for reading my story, for showing compassion, and for reminding me that asking for help doesn't mean I've stopped fighting. Sometimes the people who seem to have it all together are the ones silently praying for someone to notice they're struggling. ❤️
