Soon to be 18 year olds birthday gift

This is a young man, older and wiser than his years or his mother, who will soon be celebrating his 18th birthday. He learned to be a man, a good man, in this difficult to navigate world, without appropriate role models or reasonable guidance. He was born with a good head on his shoulders, and he seemingly effortlessly walks the line of straight A student, full time employee, big and little brother, volunteer, boyfriend, son, friend, and does so while seeming to choose the harder and straighter path that is almost always the best choice in life. I couldn't be more proud and lucky to have him as my son, and anything helps to show him how proud of I am of not only the life he's lived but most especially of the man he's growing into.
