Yesterday, Willow got measured and fitted for a little support/compression vest (I call it her baby corset 😆). It will help support her just a bit so she can sit more independently.

We were driving home from her appointment, and the car was quiet. Oliver suddenly said, “Mom! You know who can come to our house now that we’re fixing it for Willow?” He went on to tell me that his favorite friend from Spina Bifida family camp could come to our house once it is wheelchair accessible.

This Spina Bifida journey isn’t just Willow’s, and it isn’t just ours as her parents. This journey includes her brothers, too. And I am SO proud of the compassion and inclusivity that I see  growing in their hearts 💞
