We received our first flooring quote today, and while it’s an exciting step forward, it also highlighted the challenges we have been dreading. 

The ramps needed for our hallway—especially with the tight space and step-downs—make everything a bit more complicated than a simple flooring fix. 

(The picture with the red and blue drawing is what a contractor had in mind to build for us. It fixes some problems, but creates others. So, more brainstorming to come there. And the photo of the cardboard ramp is Oliver’s ramp creation for his sister. All his idea 🥰).

What seems simple on paper quickly becomes a puzzle of safety, space, and structure. But we’re just getting this process started, and we are really excited about the possibilities ahead!

We’re learning as we go, trusting God in the details, and continuing to press forward in creating a home that truly works for Willow.
