Thank you all for making Camila’s birthday feel so special!
She celebrated in the most Camila ways: running through a tinsel curtain pretending it was a car wash, tending to her flower garden, dancing to her favorite Laurie Berkner songs, sitting by the bay window taking in all the sounds, and going for a roll through the neighborhood.
Through the messages, gifts, videos, decorations, and other thoughtful surprises, we felt so much love around her. We are grateful for the ways people helped celebrate our girl.
One of the most meaningful ways to love Camila is to keep learning about the life around her, too. For anyone interested, I have been sharing more reflections on Instagram about parent caregiving and what it means to be part of the village.
