Half way...
Wayne & Kelsey Ritscher
This afternoon marks the crossing of the half-way point for the first round of Mom's/Kelsey treatment plan. As someone who likes a solid plan, this brings me/Lacey both relief and anxiety. Getting to the end of one thing means the beginning of something else and, with that, comes unknowns.
With that, I share this verse from John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world give do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid."
We do know that after Mom/Kelsey finishes this first round, she will have about a month "break" before starting the second round of the treatment plan. That said, it's not all unknown. But, they will be doing another scan in the next week or so to see how things are working. Please continue to pray for God's healing power and for the peace which surpasses all understanding.
Mom/Kelsey continues to feel pretty well - the fatigue and nausea continue, but she is otherwise doing well!
Thank you all so much for your continued support! I/Lacey move to a new (to us) house tomorrow and Ellie has had a very full calendar of baseball, gymnastics, dance, softball, etc.. It's been important to Mom/Kelsey and Dad/Wayne that we maintain as much of our normalcy as possible, so we press on...but that would not be possible without all of the love and support that each of you has shown.
The included photo was taken from the gravel road Southeast of the farm overlooking the pond and house. 5/7/24

Want to mention, we are distant relatives! Kelsey along with her family and me and my family enjoyed the Parsale (sp?π€ͺ) reunion, back when we were in junior highβ¦..along time ago!π
