Hello family and friends!
Wade is headed back to NAPA Austin for Round 2 of intensive therapy, and we are asking for your support.
As many of you know, Wade has a very rare genetic condition called Marinesco-Sjögren Syndrome (MSS). There are only 100–200 confirmed cases worldwide. MSS affects Wade’s muscle tone, balance, coordination, development, and speech. He works incredibly hard in physical, occupational, and speech therapy every week.
Last October, Wade attended his first 3-week intensive at NAPA Austin and made amazing progress. He went from army crawling to beginning a 4-point crawl, gained confidence putting weight through his legs, and improved his independent sitting balance.
Since then he has also become quite the talker -- going from single words to 2 word phrases and a lot of repeating!
For Round 2 of NAPA, Wade will attend daily therapy sessions M-F for 3 weeks including:
- 1 hour Occupational Therapy
- 1 hour Physical Therapy
- 1 hour Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI)
- 1 hour speech therapy
Wade is also turning 3 this year, which means he is aging out of his current early intervention therapy services. As he transitions, many of the therapies and equipment he needs will move to private pay, creating additional expenses for our family.
Our prayer is that he continues building strength, confidence, mobility, balance, and communication skills.
There is no cure for MSS, but therapy can greatly improve Wade’s quality of life and independence. Your support will help cover therapy costs and mobility equipment that will benefit Wade now and in the future.

To make distribution easier this time:
- Local pickup will be available in New Braunfels (date/time TBD)
- Shirts will be delivered to family and friends in the Palacios / Blessing / Bay City areas
- Shipping is available for an additional fee --Please text me if you need it shipped!
- Please include your address on the form in case delivery is needed
- Our goal is to have all shirts distributed before his session starting June 8th!
