Hi everyone,

Having a couple meals delivered by friends and/or family every week has been the biggest practical help for Vanessa & the girls. We updated the calendar to reflect the request for ongoing meals through the last week of school/Vanessa's job (before summer starts). 

A group of neighbors and friends have been on a rotation to help with letting Hans out and with school drop off and pick up, so those needs are fulfilled for now. Thank you so much to everyone who has helped! Update: Vanessa & Barb (Vanessa's mom) gave Hans his first bath in over a year, so he is looking and smelling good! 

Vanessa has been wanting to make her own post to social media about this soon, but wanted to post here too that any sharing of your own best memories and/or stories of Joe would be very welcome. They could be funny, serious, whatever you want to share. Vanessa is putting together a lot of these for her & the girls to reflect on & keep the memory of their favorite guy alive. You can mail them, email them, text them, or send Vanessa a direct message on Facebook or Instagram.

Also, she is still working on getting back to everyone & sending out thank you cards from Joe's service. Going back to work full-time and adjusting to solo parenting has been and will be an ongoing journey for them.
