💚 March 1st – National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month 💚

March 1st marks more than awareness month for us.

It marks the leap of faith we took with Tucker’s March stem cell round — choosing hope when the future felt uncertain.

Tucker has Cerebral Palsy caused by PVL, along with CVI and focal epilepsy. For years we heard, “he may never…”

Recently, some of those words shifted to “he will never.”

And we don’t receive that.

Because we have watched him do things they said were unlikely.

Since last March, we’ve seen:

Stronger standing.

More intentional movement.

More connection.

More understanding.

And words — words that once felt so far away.

Last year when I said “I love you,” he answered “bye” on his device.

Now he tells me “I love you” back.

Progress doesn’t always look dramatic. It looks like therapy rooms. Hard days. Tiny gains that turn into real milestones. It looks like faith when doctors draw lines in the sand.

We respect medical expertise.

But we also believe in possibility.

Cerebral palsy is lifelong — but so is our commitment to pushing forward, seeking therapies, and giving Tucker every opportunity to grow.

If you’ve prayed, shared, encouraged, or given toward his therapies — you are part of these milestones. You are part of the “look at him now.”

This month is about awareness.

But today, we celebrate resilience.

We celebrate progress.

We celebrate refusing to let “never” have the final word.

We are so proud of you, Tucker. 💚
